Fall Photos at the Farm

What a beautiful day it was today! Warm and muggy and a perfect day to head to Kelsey Creek Farm with Sloan and her buddy Jordan. They had so much fun exploring the farm, seeing the animals, eating the flowers, and trying to pick up the pumpkins!

Jordan is used to being able to pick up balls and throw them, and he tried so hard with this pumpkin, but it was just too heavy. He was so cute trying and his face got all red with determination.

Jordan kept calling them "ball!"

"Can you sit on the pumpkin Sloan?"

"If you're happy and you know it clap your hands!"

"How big are you?" Jordan didn't find my questions and songs as entertaining. :( I tired.

She always sticks her tongue out!

He gave the horse a hug. So sweet.

One year photo shoot out on the family farm.

This was such a fun location to shoot for this family. It is where the mom grew up! We even got some cute shots of Mom and her daughter in her childhood playhouse together.

The cows showed up for the shoot too!

You know it's a good photo shoot when it requires a wardrobe change in the car!

We finished off the photo shoot by letting her eat one of her watermelon cupcakes from her 1st birthday party. She didn't really eat it, just held it and then smashed it with her leg!

Birth Photography - Baby Cecilia

Last month I had the privilege of photographing the birth of my longest friend's baby girl. 

I have known my friend since I was 2 months old! Our mom's were friends and we have stayed in touch our whole lives. This August, she was patiently awaiting the arrival of her little one and I told her that if the timing worked out I would come to the hospital and photograph the birth.

Everything worked out perfectly and at 10:40 am on a Monday, Baby Cecilia was born! 

Here is the happy family just moments after delivery. Mom looks amazing! Dad, so excited and baby Cecilia, ready to eat!

She had a good team of people there to help with the birth!

Here she is! Just as perfect as can be!

Getting back into photography again!

Hi everyone! 

I haven't posted anything since my daughter was born last year, but just recently I have done a few fun senior and baby shoots and was thinking about getting into sharing more of my photos and spreading the word that I am open to do more shoots now! 

Here are a few fun shots that I took of my daughter the other day. She loves watermelon SO much and I wanted to take some photos of her to remember how fun it was at this age exploring all kinds of new foods. 

I'll share a few more from my other shoots soon.
