Babymoon, Portlandia and Crafts for Baby Girl

Phew, we have been busy lately! Doing all fun things though! We are officially in the third trimester now, and I am really feeling much more tired and easily winded going up stairs or hills when walking. My bump is showing much more now and she is kicking and moving around all the time! I have had fun finding some fun crafts to make for her, pics below. And Garrett and I had a great time on our short, but fun babymoon in Palm Dessert. :)

This onesie project was by far my favorite! The opportunities are endless! And it was not very hard to get them to turn out pretty good! I found the stencils and the tutorial here
Here is another cute project for a fall newborn I made for baby girl - crochet pumpkin hat. I hope to take a cute picture of her at the pumpkin patch wearing this little hat. :)

I had a trade show to go to for work in Palm Dessert during the week, so we added on a few extra nights and Garrett came with me for a couple days. The trade show was at La Quinta Resort in Palm Dessert. The resort is amazingly beautiful! 41 pools and all ground floor rooms with gorgeous views of the mountains.

It was SO hot during our stay. When we landed at the airport, it was 96 at 11:15 PM!! That is hot for a preggo lady!! But I survived.

After we got back from Palm Springs I got out the sewing machine and tested out this tutorial for how to make cute burp cloths and pacifier clips.
I also crocheted some cute booties and another beanie while watching tv or sitting in the sun with Garrett. :)

For the 4th of July we drove down to Portland with three of our friends and explored the city for the weekend.

On Sunday we drove about 30 minutes out of the city and checked out some of their wineries down there. It was beautiful! Garrett got to enjoy all the wine drinking, and I just had fun taking pictures at each of the wineries. A lot of them had a gorgeous view of Mt. Hood.

On our way home we drove the LONG way and tried to catch the sunset at Haystack Rock on Cannon beach. But when we got out there, it was all cloudy, so no sunset for us, just two extra hours of driving and a couple of pictures.
